![]() ![]() If I was willing to set up two instances of the same plugin in parallel then I could get phase coherency but I wasn't interested in that. If I set up a UAD 1176 in parallel with an unprocessed signal path there was phasing. When I demoed this a while back PDC did not function correctly in Cubase 5. This may be a limitation with Cubase but if BlueCat will allow me to create complex routings with both plugins and my hardware inserts I'll get into all kinds of new territory! another issue which I had with MetaPlugin (which I hope isn't a problem with BlueCat) is that I couldn't use the Cubase "external plugin" so I could not incorporate any of my hardware. Judging by the look of BlueCat's plugin they have identified these needs so. Mix had to be controlled by the actual gain staging of each hosted plugin and it just wasn't what I was looking for. Another issue with metaplugin (at least the version I demoed) was that there was no mix level control between multiple signal paths. ![]() Just reinventing the wheel here, which is unusual for Blue Cats. When I demoed this a while back PDC did not function correctly in Cubase 5. DDMF Metaplugin does this already incredibly well. ![]()
